   I think a regional council could be good. But it needs to be regional and not based in Dunedin. It should be based in Roxburgh or Alexandra or even Cromwell. As it stands at the moment it is basically another Council with a Dunedin focus. Even the criticism of it is Dunedin focused.

   Basing it in one of those towns will also remove the ‘woke’ from standing.

   ORC have a Central Otago office in Alexandra and that is where they should stay.
   If Otago wants to pay to keep the horrendously expensive and useless ORC going, let them pay for it, and stay out of the Dunedin territorial area, where they are not needed or wanted.
