Thanks to Cr. Simms notice of motion today, all Dunedin voters will decide what voting system we will use, rather than the status quo of elected representatives deciding whether they get elected by STV or by FPP.

Unfortunately we have to wait to make the decision along with other voting in 2028, but to get it done sooner would have cost $400,000+.
