Our anti-car Council has become the anti-consultation Council as they ignored the vast majority of Annual Plan submitters including all but one of our Community Boards who opposed the changes to George street, ignored the George st retailers and landlords, and ignored the biggest public petition this century of 6,500 Dunedin people opposed to the $60 million plan to turn George street to the Exchange into a cycleway.

in the last several years “Ignore” seams to be the key for those in positions of power / authority it allows them to be able to climb the ladder, it happens else where as well power companies, manufactures / Suppliers all think that they can ignore you and move on the all rely on wearing you done and you getting annoyed and giving up. I normally send three emails asking for updates then file it for later on. This is what the late Cull done as Mayor what Hawkins is doing, The DCC appear to be very fond of this process, Hawkins, Bidrose and I suspect the new CEO are all guilty of this and they all think they are doing a fine job, Dunedin, NZ needs to grow some and continue to challenge these idiots otherwise they will continue to erode what Dunedin has, then move on, Wake up Dunedin they are using the town as their experiment to climb the ladder.
